Safety and Efficacy of Early Tube Removal Following Percutaneous Transhepatic Gallbladder Drainage: an Observational Study > 의학

drainage tube removal is safe and effective when performed after a short drainage period of 7 to 10 days

(1) the inflammation was subsiding, 

(2) the cystic duct and common bile duct were visible on tube imaging

(3) no intraperitoneal leakage was detected. Subsidence of inflammation was confirmed by the decline of fever, a normal blood cell count, and resolution of abdominal pain.
